I'm Mat and I'm married to the most incredibly wonderful woman, Jen Ramos, author of MadeByGirl Blog. She's the creative side of the family except in the kitchen. Ever since we started dating, one of my favorite things to do is to cook for her.
I have some culinary background but most of this comes from practice and love. Simple meals, minimal ingredients, and creative presentation are important. After some nudging from Jen and friends, and after years of Jen posting photos on Twitter, I've finally decided to post the photos, the recipes and the tips here.
And of course, we love to eat out so I'll be sure to write up some reviews on all the spots we dine at (or check some of them out on my TripAdvisor contributions page).

Y ojalá pudiera comprar en México las tremendamente hermosas pinturas que hace la adorable Jen.
